Valencia Airport

business travelers to Valencia and summer travelers to the Costa del Azahar. It is
situated 9km west of Valencia.
Valencia airport has flight connections to about 15 European countries and almost
2.5 million people and 12,000 tonnes of cargo pass through the airport. The airport
has one terminal and two run ways.
Valencia airport is situated on the A3 motorway which connects Valencia with Madrid,
as well as being close to the A7, to Barcelona and into France. It is also well served
by public transport. It is connected to Valencia by a regular bus to the city centre,
which takes 45 minutes, and the local train line (C-4) runs every 20 minutes. Also,
there are plans to extend Valencias metro system out to the airport.
Valencia airport is around 1 hour from the popular beach resort of Denia and Javea.
